Consumer Publications
Members can purchase specialty booklets, etc. to give to their consumers. The current list includes: HBA Industry Standards Manual, Your Home and How to Take Care of It and How to Take Care of Your New Apartment. Builder members are also listed in two specialty publications published by St. Louis Homes and Lifestyles magazine: the annual Remodeling and Custom Guides.

Education
The HBA supports continuous learning through a number of venues. Members and their guests are exposed to educational messages from keynote speakers at general meetings and select awards programs. In addition, members can attend various programs all year long. These programs deal with almost every facet of business. Endorsements and Affinity Programs
Members can take advantage of special deals for homebuyer's warranties, NEXTEL cell phones, on-hold messaging services and more. The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) also has a number of special discounts for members on hotel/car rentals, office supplies, computers, payroll services, etc.

Got Dirt?
Members can let other members know when they have dirt to move or need dirt for a specific project by subscribing to this free notification service. All messages are sent via e-mail.

HOMER and Bravo Awards
Only dues-paying members can enter these prestigious contests considered by some to be the "Oscars" of the homebuilding industry.

Industry Advancement Scholarship
The Home Builders Association of Greater St. Louis and Eastern Missouri established this scholarship program in 2005. The program is intended to provide tuition assistance to undergraduate students pursuing a career in the home building industry. The scholarship fund was created to assist in addressing the critical need for educating and training managers in the home building industry. Click here for the application.

Mailing Labels
Members can rent mailing labels for a nominal fee. Labels can be ordered for "Builders Only", "Associates Only" or "All HBA Members" accordingly.

Membership Directory and Buyer's Guide
This comprehensive book is published annually, listing all association members, council members, government officials, leadership and HBA staff. In addition, members' services are categorized by product in the "yellow pages." This "directory" is extremely useful for members looking for new suppliers and vendors. The HBA strongly encourages doing business with a member. Advertising opportunities are also available in the roster.

Networking Opportunities
One of the top reasons members join the HBA is to network with people and companies in the industry. Members gain access through constant exposure and active participation at educational and social activities. The HBA has many functions every month to bring people together. Participating in one of the HBA's councils is also a great way for members to make contacts. Whether you are a lender networking with real estate agents at a Sales and Marketing program or a supplier playing golf with contractors in the annual golf tournament, your business is benefiting from the exposure. Permit Reports
Members can buy a subscription to receive monthly reports noting new construction activity by builder, location and price point.

Sales Contracts
Builder members can purchase standardized contacts for Tract Homes, Custom Homes on Builder's Lot and Custom Home on Client's Lot. Standard contracts for Apartment Leases are also available.
