Home Builders Association Donates $15,000 to Caring Solutions
On behalf of the Home Builders Charitable Foundation (HBCF), HBCF President Jim Brennan of McKelvey Homes (left) and 2016 HBA President Kim Hibbs of Hibbs Homes (right) presented a $15,000 donation to Madi Hawn, CEO of Caring Solutions.
The donation will be used to help fund drywall material and labor to complete renovation at Valentine Place in Ferguson, Mo. Valentine Place is part of Caring Solutions’ Family Support Program. It will be used to provide therapeutic intervention for children and adults with developmental disabilities such as autism, intellectual impairments and severe behavioral needs. Caring Solutions designs and provides individualized services for adults and children with developmental disabilities so they can lead fulfilling lives and discover their abilities.
The HBA is a local trade association of more than 500 member firms representing the residential construction industry. The Home Builders Charitable Foundation, the HBA’s charitable arm, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing assistance to people or organizations with special shelter needs.
